Join the team @ The Way Fellowship Church Full Job description: The ministry of The WAY Fellowship Church is seeking a passionate, spirit filled, energetic, and dedicated individual to lead a small group of youth (ages 4 to 12) in their spiritual growth and development journey. This role involves guiding the youth through Bible study, Bible verse memorization, games, songs, and presentations before the church that showcase their learning. In addition, planning engaging activities that support spiritual growth and development. Job Requirements: • Associate's degree in Biblical studies, education, or a related field. • 3 years of experience in ministry with children. • A desire to teach and mentor young children in Biblical truth. • A growing Christian faith and character. Ability to pass a background check. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Understanding of and willingness to serve within the doctrinal commitments of the church. • A commitment to the mission of the church. • A sense of calling toward ministry. • A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9). • Strong computer skills, with ability to use web based and MacOS software • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer applications to create interactive lessons, integrate multimedia resources, and enhance classroom engagement for dynamic, technology-driven learning experiences. • Report to the church’s leadership biweekly about the accomplishments of the children’s ministry. • Maintain the integrity of the children’s Bible teaching time by ensuring the instruction is consistent with the doctrinal convictions of the church. • Creating a safe, welcoming environment for all youth. • Organizing age-appropriate activities, games, group dynamics that encourage spiritual development • Supporting youth in understanding and living out biblical truths • Collaborating with church leadership and families to nurture each child’s growth Ideal candidate: • Has a heart for youth ministry and cross-cultural engagement • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Scripture and faith-based mentoring • Proven experience working with the youth with sound ideas to build and develop a sound program. • Experience working in a Christian academy, i.e. daycare, public or charter school etc. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 / hour, Expected hours: 2hrs on Sundays only, Work Location: In person at The WAY Fellowship Church 20871 Johnson Street, Suite 105 Pembroke Pines, Florida 33029
