As a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Truck Tech III is required to perform all duties of the level 1 and level 2 technician. Replace, install and service mixer truck equipment, product transfer systems, starting systems, steering systems, transmissions, wheels, hubs and bearings. Replace, install frame components and basic diagnose of electronic control systems. Replace, install, service and diagnose charging systems, clutches and drive lines, and suspensions systems. Will inspect and identify vehicle conditions on different types of equipment such as tractors, trailers, or mixers. Will install, select, or identify proper tire replacements & legal limit knowledge. Diagnose and repair vehicle system engine failure and vehicle system transmission & gear box failure. Follow manufacture service and troubleshooting procedures, diagnose and repair vehicle system. Diagnose and repair vehicle Aftertreatment systems, Advance Electrical systems, Air brake system and brake valve diagnose. Diagnose and repair vehicle Hydraulic system failure. Diagnose and repair HVAC failure diagnose. Complete all maintenance duties as assigned, and repair all equipment on property including, but not limited to, diesel, plant, or yard equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma. 4+ years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 4+ years' experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Must have own tools. Preferred Education and Experience Associates degree, technical school certificate or equivalent experience. 5+ years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 5+ years' experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. 3+ years' experience welding.
