





Fairmont Apartments is seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodial Engineer to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for our residents and staff. This role is essential to the overall appearance and upkeep of our community, both indoors and outdoors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain common areas including leasing office, manager’s office, clubroom, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry rooms Maintain exterior areas such as sidewalks, stairwells, trash areas, parking lots, driveways, carports, mailbox sites, walking paths, and building exteriors Ensure excellent curb appeal at all times Perform routine cleaning tasks including: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and power washing Wiping down windows, rails, light fixtures, foyers, and vacant units Emptying garbage and replacing supplies Picking up pet waste Painting and brushing as needed Assist with seasonal tasks and special projects Follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision Required Attributes: Honest, reliable, and cooperative attitude Ability to follow instructions and work independently Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes Familiarity with Fair Housing guidelines Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and comprehend written documentation Must pass background check and drug screening Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and reach overhead Comfortable working in various weather conditions Able to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, and crouch Able to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to climb stairs and ladders regularly Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
