Unity | Commitment | Responsibility | Excellence | Support | Innovation We are looking for a Brake Press Set-Up and Operator who will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and tear down of our Amada Brake Presses, as well as training and mentoring. This person will have the opportunity to work on up to 10 different work orders every day, producing different parts from a variety of different gauge metals. Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Receive work orders with production instructions and work with our Tool & Die and Materials Teams to get the brake press and the work station ready for production. • Inspect the set-up and run quality tests on the brake press. • Run the Brake Press while monitoring quality, consistency, and compliance of the parts being produced. • Troubleshoot production issues and adjust the set-up to fulfill the requirements of the work order. • Log work order progress and provide information to Quality, as requested. • Remove the tool and reset the brake press set-up for the next work order. • Be flexible and versatile to fill-in in other areas to meet the needs of ever-changing bottlenecks. You’ll love this job if you have/are: • 5 – 10 years of experience in the metal manufacturing industry, preferably in a job shop environment • 5 – 8 years of experience operating a brake press, preferably an Amada • 3+ years of experience completing set-ups on brake presses, preferably an Amada • Committed to contributing to the team effort • Flexible and willing to assist the team in other areas when needed Position Details: • Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm or 4:30pm – 3:00am • Wage Range: $25 - $35 / hour 2nd Shift offers up to 10% shift differential.
