Job Summary: The Conventional Driver family of positions requires a current valid CDL, a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), an up-to-date medical card, and one years’ driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification. Keep accurate, daily records of accounts and collected cash. Must be able to work independently while supporting the Distribution Department. Work in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors and peers. General Requirements: Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate knowledge of safety areas reviewed in the safety orientation program. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. The position is responsible for setting up and operating a turret punch press to produce precision sheet metal parts according to customer specifications. Experience with Amada Vipros 358 is beneficial. This person will have the opportunity to work on up to 10 different work orders every day, producing different parts from a variety of different gauge metals. Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Receive work orders with production instructions and work with our Tool & Die and Materials Teams to get the brake press and the work station ready for production. • Inspect the set-up and run quality tests on the brake press. • Run the Brake Press while monitoring quality, consistency, and compliance of the parts being produced. • Troubleshoot production issues and adjust the set-up to fulfill the requirements of the work order. • Log work order progress and provide information to Quality, as requested. • Remove the tool and reset the brake press set-up for the next work order. • Be flexible and versatile to fill-in in other areas to meet the needs of ever-changing bottlenecks.
