A South Windsor physically disabled man seeks a reliable and compassionate PCA to provide personal care services for part-time evening shifts (7 pm - 10 pm) and occasional morning and afternoon shifts. The client uses an electric wheelchair, a Hoyer lift, and a commode/shower chair. He needs help with dressing/undressing, toileting, dental care, getting into and out of bed, respiratory care, etc. An applicant should have a valid driver’s license in good standing, a reliable vehicle, and a clean background with no criminal history. Experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided. The pay is $22.00 per hour (on books).

We're looking for a highly-motivated individual who's comfortable not only with building and servicing bicycles, but also interacting with our customers and other members of the cycling community. Mechanic tasks include, but are not limited to, full tune-ups and overhauls; rim brakes as well as mechanical and hydraulic disc brake work, derailleur adjustments, wheel truing, and more. All employees perform additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to, taking bikes up and down stairs and on and off racks, housekeeping such as sweeping, dusting, and taking trash out. Comfort on the computer is necessary. The employee must be able to perform some lifting and moving. Specifically, the job requires the ability to lift a bicycle (over 40 pounds) onto and off of an overhead rack, up and down stairs, and to move boxes with racks and bicycles up to 60 pounds.
