Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cyber security or related IT security fields. Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Engineer, or similar role. Certified A+ or Networking+ required. Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools. Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with incident response, forensic investigation, and threat intelligence. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented, analytical, and equipped with robust problem-solving skills. Familiarity with SOX, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory compliance requirements. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC) strongly preferred. Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus. Familiarity with SDLC and secure coding practices, preferred.
