Submit daily updates, photos, and metrics via company apps/software. Communicate progress and issues to the owner in real-time. Handle prep work: sanding, masking, caulking, patching. Perform painting: cutting, rolling, spraying. Set up, operate, and maintain sprayers (airless; HVLP a plus). Power wash, scrape, or repair surfaces as needed. Ensure jobsites are safe, organized, and spotless at the end of each day. Train helpers and delegate tasks to maximize efficiency. Provide daily client updates on progress and next steps. Maintain equipment and supplies (brushes, sprayers, ladders) in good condition. Ensure the team has supplies needed at all times — designate a helper for runs or go themselves if necessary. Resolve problems on site or escalate quickly to avoid downtime. Hold crew accountable for productivity and quality standards. Complete jobs on schedule and to company expectations. Requirements 5+ years painting experience (residential interiors/exteriors). Prior foreman or crew leader experience strongly preferred. Must be willing to carry ladders, power wash, spray, and do what it takes. Must know how to use and maintain sprayers (airless required; HVLP a plus). Must be comfortable with smartphones, apps, and reporting software. Driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding when needed. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is dependable, hardworking, and organized -- who will be responsible for assembly/dissasembly and modification of headlights for customer order fulfillments. The tech will also fabricate led rings, box and label items, and assist with shop organization, among other things. Fabriation experience in shop work or a specialty related trade and dependability are preferred. The specifics include: • Tech/Artisan Work - opening different brands of headlights cleanly, and carefully, and modifying of headlights to accept led rings/strips, etc. Includes painting of headlights and re-sealing • LED Ring and LED Carbon Fiber Eyebrow fabrication • Headlight lens swap - entails cutting open headlights, and removing old lenses, cleaning of channel, installation of new lens, replacement of old wiring as needed. • Organizing and unboxing of new products/materials • Organizing and routing orders according to business need/priority • Ensuring all orders are completed in a timely fashion • Assembling misc parts • Using a Dremel to shave PCB boards/gel to enable parts to fit correctly into plastic lenses • Gluing parts neatly and cleanly • Using shop equipment to ensure LED rings and other products are operating within correct voltage specifications • Perform quality assurance checks • Wiring of receivers/controllers for use with LED components • Soldering of parts as needed • Perform independent tasks based upon general direction Requirements: • Excellent independent problem solving skills • Excels at manual tasks • Able to adapt to methodical processes • Meticulous and organized • Strong work ethic and solution minded • Excellence oriented • Present professionally (phsically and in your communication) Preferred skills: • Prior experience in automotive shops • Prior fabrication experience Non-Starters: • Frequent lateness • Frequent unannounced/unplanned absenteeism To apply, please respond to this ad via email and include your work history and/or resume.
