Seeking skilled Handymen, Preservation Contractors & Field Inspectors compensation: Depends on the job employment type: contract experience level: entry level job title: Seeking skilled Handymen, Preservation Contractors We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Property Preservation Specialists to maintain REO and vacant properties. The ideal individual will be responsible for inspections, initial services, and recurring maintenance and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to required standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and property maintenance (e.g., Lock work, Yard care, Cleaning, Snow removal, Winterization, Repair, Maintenance). Secure vacant properties by changing locks, boarding windows, and addressing safety hazards. Take clear and timestamped before/after photos of all work completed. Maintain open communication with the coordination team regarding job status and issues. Handle emergency work orders, such as securing broken windows or water leaks. Requirements: Experience in property preservation, or field services preferred. Basic tools and equipment required (e.g., lawnmower, drill, smartphone or tablet for photos). Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete work independently. Strong time management and problem-solving skills. Must be able to pass background checks. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with property preservation platforms (e.g., PPW, Inspector Aide, or EZ Inspections etc.). Knowledge of preservation guidelines. This is an independent contractor with no benefits.
