Rudy’s Corporate Dining is a local artisan food service provider to some of Metro Detroit’s fastest growing companies. We are seeking motivated, happy, hard working individuals with experience in faced paced environments. Do what you love with work life balance! Shifts are Monday through Friday, daytime hours. NO NIGHTS! Job Overview: The cook works as part of the team to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and inviting environment. This position requires open availability. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all items are prepared according to company and brand standards and meet all health code requirements Prepare foods of consistent quality according to the recipe. Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, boilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles Properly forecast food consumption based on reports ensuring not to prepare beyond estimated needs Control food waste, loss and usage as directed. Read menu to estimate food requirements and order food from suppliers Date all food containers and rotate as directed. Return all covered and dated perishable items to designated areas and stored at the proper temperature Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance,. Respond to special requests from guests Treats people with respect Assist with cleaning programs as assigned Meet productivity standards and complete work within a timely manner Observes safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; use chemicals and equipment properly Report any equipment problems to maintenance or supervisor immediately Required Skills and Experience: 1-2 Years Grill cook experience is preferred but not required High School diploma is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Must maintain a positive can-do attitude Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities Adaptable to change Must have reliable transportation

Lodge at Marconi is seeking part-time restaurant servers with a minimum of 2 years fine dining experience. Familiarity with Aloha POS, wine knowledge and exceptional customer service skills are a must. We are looking for individuals with a great sense of hospitality and the ability to work well with others. A flexible schedule including mornings, lunch shifts, nights, holidays and weekends is required. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast paced environment Responsibilities: • Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion • Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest • Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests • Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of • Delivering the bill and processing payment • Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect • Assisting with closing and opening duties • Assisting with hotel and banquet operations as needed • Understand and proficiently use the POS system Qualifications: • Must be eligible to work in the USA • Food service experience preferred • Ability to learn and understand basic food practices Physical Requirements: • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours.
