General Contractor seeking a tradesman with various skills, most importantly Plumbing skills. Must have plumbing skills to the following: Demo of plumbing work, shower pans with pre-pitch, shower valves, handhelds, toilets, faucets, drain connects, water connections, etc. for mostly residential projects. We do all our plumbing in house. However, other skills are desired. This role may become full time in the future. Job Summary As an Art Glass Studio Assistant, you’ll support daily studio operations and assist with various stages of the art glass creation process. Prior experience handling and working with glass and/or woodworking is highly preferred. Overall interest in art and understanding design concepts and working with your hands is a plus. Responsibilities - Assist in cutting, foiling, and assembling stained glass pieces - Design drafting using Corel, AutoCAD, or similar software - Help with pattern preparation and material organization - Clean, polish, and inspect finished pieces for quality - Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized studio workspace - Manage and keep track of glass and materials inventory - Pack and prepare orders for delivery or pickup Qualifications - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn - Familiarity with or proficiency in using CAD and/or graphic design software - Good hand-eye coordination and comfort using hand tools - Dependable, punctual, and professional - Comfortable working independently and taking direction - Ability to occasionally lift/handle heavy objects such as glass panels, crates, etc... - Art, design, or craft background is preferred Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and work documents
