Septic Inspector Trainee: Asheville Septic & Well is seeking a dedicated, confident, and hard-working individual with a good aptitude to learn the trade of inspecting Septic Systems throughout WNC. A good candidate would potentially already have some plumbing or construction experience but we are more than willing to train the right person if they show willingness to learn. We are looking to have you start approx. January of 2026. If you are looking for a job IMMEDIATELY, we are not ready to onboard yet. Prerequisites to the job: -Able-bodied person, any gender, fit and able to do a full hard day’s work (digging holes and lifting over 100 lbs. required.) -Comfortable working in the presence of septic systems and wastewater. -Have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record. Must have your own vehicle. -No drug or alcohol addicts. -Ability to work 5 days a week, roughly 8AM to 5PM. -Efficiency with smartphone/computer apps. -Ability to relate inspection details in a straightforward manner to clients and realtors. -References from at least two previous employers are required. -A pleasant demeanor & attitude when working with others.
