Like to walk and talk? Local dependable individual needed to distribute doorhanger advertisements/ and do door to door advertising for a local award-winning construction company. We are seeking an individual that likes walking and would enjoy talking to potential customers. Having some construction knowledge is a MUST! (Candidate needs reliable transportation since we send to different locations in and around Indianapolis.) Doorhangers advertisements and other materials will be provided. You would be knocking on doors and tell people about our company and what services we offer. If they aren't home, you just place doorhanger on the door. (Pay is $20 dollars an hour, with potential for extra in commissions.) The primary role of this position is to operate the garbanzo cleaning facility. Cleaning months are typically September-April, with operation intermittent at times depending on markets and product availability. When there is not cleaning work to be done, there is work on the farm side of things. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required, looking for someone who is not afraid of hard work. Compensation $20-28/hr depending on experience and qualifications. Combining, bank out wagon driving, truck driving, and repairs as needed. September-October (65-80 hrs/wk): Fall field work. This work includes harrowing, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, truck driving and many other tasks to get crops planted and established. Fall tillage to prepare for upcoming spring work. October-December (40 hrs/wk): Cleaning and shipping chickpeas. Overseeing and operating the cleaning, sizing, sorting and packaging equipment.
