About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles. Job Summary: Performs routine daily acetylene production and cylinder filling activities. These activities include the operation and monitoring of process equipment, cylinder filling, material handling, and minor equipment maintenance. Follows industry and government guidelines and adhere to all company safety requirements. Duties include:  Perform visual inspection on all cylinders prior to filling.  Weigh all Acetylene cylinders to determine Acetone needs.  Record all residual and stray fulls from cylinders.  Perform hourly plant safety checks.  Refill Carbide hoppers when needed.  Track Carbide usage and inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Track Acetone inventory, inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Load Lime slurry for disposal.  Recover residual from all “out of test” cylinders prior to sending to re-qualification facility.  Perform PM’s on all associated equipment used for cylinder filling and inspection. As assigned.  Report monthly cylinder totals on approved tracking forms to the production supervisor. Requirements include:  Industry experience such as handling cylinders and/or previous knowledge of gases, Cylinder filling procedures, paperwork and plant operations is preferred.  Able to read and comprehend safety rules and regulations.  Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.  Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.  Able to lift/move 70 lbs; able to stand for most of the day, work in outdoor conditions.  Able to work independently.  You must pass drug screen and background check. Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $23.00/hr - Swing Shift Position. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr. Full Job Description: Drill Crew Laborer: A Drill Crew Laborer supports directional drill construction teams. Drill Crew Laborer duties include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and supplies needed for daily work assignments, setting-up of worksite traffic and safety controls and properly securing work area. Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access u/g vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches. Operate jackhammers, air knives, pneumatic boring equipment and powered augers. Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduit sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestals vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks. Fully restore worksite at completion of daily work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, replant any plants or shrubs that were disturbed during our construction, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed.
