About the Role: We’re a family-oriented company looking for a dependable Tile Restoration Assistant who genuinely enjoys hands-on work and is seeking future growth opportunities within our company. This role is a combination of commission-based earning with the safety net of a daily guaranteed minimum ($100). It’s ideal for someone who wants consistent security while also being rewarded for performance and contribution. You’ll assist with tile and grout projects in homes and businesses — preparing job sites, mixing grout, cleaning, and supporting experienced technicians. Technical expertise in one or more building trades highly desired. As a part of the on-site team, the Maintenance Technician will demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and will maintain a hazard-free environment. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete. Performs repairs on the property, including painting, carpentry or wall repair, and minor plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, heating, etc. Secures, cleans, repairs, and applies bed bug treatment to all units during turnover process as directed by the Property Manager. Maintains exterior common areas and grounds, including lawns and flowerbeds, shrubbery, parking areas, and trash pickup. Provides on-call maintenance service as directed by the Property Manager. Responds to emergencies as instructed and completes incident/accident reports related to emergency or incident. Sets up conference room and community space as needed (If applicable). Completes and accurately documents preventative maintenance activities through the Recurring Work Order process. Follow through with 504 Self Evaluation repairs and maintenance, as directed by the Property Manager. Complete Purchase Orders and submit for approval. TEMP Position - Travel Southern UT and NV (SLC)
Hotel and per diem provided for all work days. A $500 project completion bonus will be paid if you perform satisfactorily and stay for entire project duration. Work is tentatively scheduled to start OCT 13th and continue off and on through NOV. Temporary labor needed for five week project - possibly six. You will travel with our supervisor and work at remote industrial sites changing out items at each facility. You need to be reliable, hard working, and able to travel and have mechanical aptitude. You will assist with loading items into shipping sacks and use hand tools (electric drill, utility knife, etc) during the work. You must be physically fit and able to climb stairs, kneel, and squat and lift 100lbs - wear a respirator when dusty conditions manifest and wear disposable coveralls, sometimes during hot weather, up to 2.5 hours without a break (it could get hot and you will sweat). Work routine is on and off throughout the day - there are breaks between tasks. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. Hotel and per diem provided for all work days. Work is tentatively scheduled to start OCT 13th and extend off and on through late NOV so your availability for this time is necessary to finalize a work schedule.
