Location: Onsite – 5 days per week (DOWNTOWN CHICAGO) We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for employees, ensuring computer systems and conference room technologies run smoothly. You’ll primarily manage issues remotely from your desk but will also handle hands-on tasks such as equipment setup and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities : Provide helpdesk support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Set up, configure, and maintain physical computer equipment and peripherals. Perform device provisioning for new and existing users (experience preferred). Troubleshoot issues related to conference room systems, with a focus on Google Meet setups. Utilize remote management tools to resolve the majority of technical support requests. Execute basic tasks in Linux terminal for system checks and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the IT team to maintain smooth operations and escalate issues when necessary. Qualifications : Previous experience in a desktop support or helpdesk support role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware setup and troubleshooting. Experience with provisioning processes is preferred. Familiarity with Linux terminal commands and basic troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests effectively. Comfortable working onsite five days per week.

This position focuses on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer-returned products and Core Systems–built servers. Resume Required. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on returned computer systems, servers, and components. Process RMA units through inspection, testing, and documentation. Repair hardware at the system, component, and board level when required. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action reports for customer returns. Work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement. Maintain accurate service records and ensure timely turnaround of customer units. Qualifications Proven hands-on experience repairing computer systems, servers, or related IT hardware. Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under time-sensitive conditions.
