The Role We're seeking experienced Wellness Bar Associates to join our dynamic front-of-house team. You'll work under our Front of House Team Manager and Wellness Bar Team Leader, crafting exceptional wellness beverages while delivering outstanding customer service in our bustling plaza location. What You'll Do Prepare and serve wellness beverages according to our recipes and quality standards Operate juicers, blenders, and specialized wellness bar equipment safely and efficiently Educate customers about superfoods, supplements, and herbal ingredients Process orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wellness bar area Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols Provide exceptional customer service that reflects our wellness mission Stock and rotate inventory as needed Support opening and closing procedures Collaborate effectively with team members during busy periods What We're Looking For Required Experience: 1+ year experience in food service, coffee shop, juice bar, or similar customer-facing role Experience with beverage preparation and commercial equipment operation Knowledge of nutrition, superfoods, and wellness ingredients Strong customer service skills with ability to educate and engage customers Experience with POS systems and cash handling Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and positive, team-player attitude Preferred Qualifications: Experience in wellness, health food, or plant-based establishments Knowledge of functional ingredients and their benefits Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) Food Handler's Safety certification Experience with inventory management What We Offer Competitive pay: $21/hour starting wage Tips: Additional earning potential through tip sharing ($3-$7+/hour) Full-time hours: Consistent 30-40 hours per week Employee benefits: 40% discount on food and beverages, 25% off retail items Growth opportunities: Potential advancement within our expanding organization Professional development: Training in wellness ingredients and customer education Positive work environment: Collaborative team focused on health and community Prime location: Work in the heart of beautiful Healdsburg Plaza Schedule Full-time position (30-40 hours per week) Must be available weekends and holidays 7 days a week operation (8 AM - 5 PM, extended summer evening hours) Flexible scheduling within operational needs Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 25 pounds regularly Work in varied temperatures (refrigerated areas, etc.) Manual dexterity for beverage preparation and equipment operation Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Location Located in the heart of Wine Country on the historic Healdsburg Plaza.
