COOKS WANTED - New restaurant opening in the River Arts District (Asheville, NC)

Full-Time / Part-Time Crusco is a new restaurant guided by the seasons, farms and ingredients. We’re committed to thoughtful cooking, honest hospitality, and a constantly evolving menu that reflects curiosity, restraint and place. We are looking for a dedicated cook to join our small, passionate kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, seasonality and craft. You will work closely with the chef-owners and team to execute a changing menu with high attention to detail and deep respect for ingredients. Responsibilities: • Prepare and execute dishes according to Crusco’s standards for taste, presentation, and technique • Work all stations as needed, with flexibility and professionalism • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen • Support daily prep and mise en place for service • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols • Communicate effectively with the team • Uphold a calm, respectful, and focused atmosphere in the kitchen Qualifications: • 1–3 years of kitchen experience in a similar or ambitious environment • A positive attitude • Ability to work efficiently in a small team and adapt in a fluid environment • A willingness to learn and grow What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Opportunities for growth • A respectful, low-ego kitchen culture
