VESTRA Resources Inc. is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our GIS / IT services team as a GIS Analyst. This is a full-time, 40 hours/ week, benefited position. This is not a remote position; this position will report to our office location in Redding, CA with some travel required to client sites or other GIS-related activities. Duties include a wide range of consulting work, including database design, application design, data development, cartographic mapping, software installation, user training, acceptance testing, rollout support, and technical support. Knowledge of cartographic principles and standards and demonstrated proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS and standard Microsoft Office packages are required. Qualified candidates shall possess: B.S. / B.A. in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning or related discipline with 3 or more years of GIS experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated knowledge and skills using Esri's suite of GIS products. Experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Field Maps required. Knowledge of the programming language Python highly preferred. Knowledge of programming languages, such as JavaScript or HTML5 is a plus.
