Responsibilities Research new algorithms and analysis techniques for remote sensor data exploitation Demonstrate fluent, idiomatic mastery of Python and C++; comfortable with software design and architecture Develop proof-of-concept signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation tools in Python Improve Python tools surrounding our machine learning, modeling, and simulation efforts Characterize quality/performance of algorithms and sensor systems Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools Other duties as assigned Requirements A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science. Presidio is seeking a Server Engineer for a customer in Center City Philadelphia. The preferred candidate would be local to the Greater Philadelphia area and able to travel into the office 3 days a week. This individual will be a member of IT Help Desk Team and ensure systems are operational, configured appropriately and performing correctly. Responsibilities: Server operations: Measure the power and performance of various server platforms including both internal and competitive systems. Responsible for server assembly, operation, SW installation and debug/repair of hardware. Setup, configure, run maintenance, and lifecycle of Storage and Data Backup solutions. Patch management testing and coordination including development and testing security patch packages. Participate in technical on-call rotation. Installation and maintenance: Install parts (e.g. processors, memory, storage, NICs, etc.) for both rack and bench systems. Perform routine data collection and maintain systems, racks, power, network, and remote access. Serve as a key enabler for offsite resources by resetting systems, swapping out parts, and providing overall scheduling for server usage.
