COMMUNITY SAFETY OFFICER We are a small upscale residential community, seeking Safety Officers for gated neighborhood in western Colorado Springs near Garden of the Gods. Full and part-time positions (20 to 40 hours weekly) available. Full medical/dental/vision benefits included. Starting pay of $15 to $17 per hour and up, depending on qualifications, with a $0.50 raise following six months of successful performance of duties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment. You will lead a team of mechanics, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality repairs, and adherence to safety standards.  Key Responsibilities:  - Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy machinery, automobiles, and work trucks.  - Lead and mentor a team of mechanics, ensuring efficient workflow.  - Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.  - Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet safety and industry standards.  - Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with management.  Qualifications:  - Proven experience as a lead mechanic, with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment.  - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  - Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks.  - Knowledge of automotive and diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.  - Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
