We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Gallatin, TN area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. In addition, to ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Mavis, Service Managers must communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations. We need someone to replace me because I'm moving down south. I'm a workhorse. I'm the guy who makes sure all the cars are clean and looking good. I overlook every aspect of what needs to be done to keep the place running as smooth as possible. I fix all the little things that need to be fixed constantly. You cannot be afraid to get your hands dirty. You need to have lots of energy and willing to work full time (5 or 6 days per week). We are a small used car dealership with approximately 30 cars on location. You will be running the dealership and doing everything needed to keep it successful. You will be doing a lot of detailing cars, returning messages, following up with customers, and selling cars, along with many other things. We need someone who is EXCELLENT at detailing cars. If you don't know how to sell cars, we can teach you how. We'll teach you everything that you will need to know to be successful. We want you to run it and care about it as if it was your own dealership. We are open 10am to 7pm Mon - Sat and 11am-6pm Sun. Here are some examples of the things you'll be doing: 1. Selling cars/dealing with customers (ie. filling out all applicable paperwork) 2. Taking and making sales calls along with returning emails and messages 3. Cleaning cars (inside and out) 4.
