Scope of tasks reflect a low to moderate level of ability and experience in automotive mechanics, metal fabrication and electrical disciplines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include: • Install and test automotive brake system components • Fabricate and repair welded metal fixtures and racks • Assemble and repair machine tooling fixtures • Fabricate, repair, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated product testers • Conduct testing, record data, and report results per engineer’s direction • Maintain and repair company vehicles. • Compile and place parts orders for R&D Shop purposes • Provide assistance to designated Engineering personnel • Work to complete tasks correctly and on-time. Actively communicate findings, issues, delays and progress to management • Follow safety practices, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), conduct activities with a high degree of discipline, and operate machinery safely.
