As you complete your daily work tasks you will be assisting them (reminders, assistance, encouragement, etc) in completing theirs tasks . Great work environment, low stress. Currently looking to hire DSP (Direct Support Professional) position in our Bunsville group home. Every other weekend live-in, work Friday 10pm till Sunday 10pm, sleep hours from 10pm to 6am. Work with 4 laid back, independent ladies with developmental disabilities living in a small 3 home company. Great group looking for a patient, reliable and work orientated person to assist with daily living skills. No behaviors. Great enjoyable, relaxing, no stress job. No experience needed. One meal provided per shift, plus other perks. Drivers license REQUIRED. Position, Part time (22 hours, 26 hours weekly): Fri-Sun 10pm-10pm. Starting pay $14.00/hr. awake rate, $11.13 sleep rate. Weekday and weekend PCA’s needed for independent male quadriplegic because of a spinal cord injury. My long-term live-in weekday PCA is moving on after 10 years and he is going to sunny warm Arizona. My weekend PCA is also moving on for other commitments. I’m an easy-going guy and I work full time from home during the week. I enjoy TV, movies, and getting out of the house on weekends. I have good use of my arms, use a power wheelchair for mobility, and have a modified van that I drive myself. Duties Training will be provided. You would be working in my private home. Duties include dressing assistance, bathroom assistance, range-of-motion exercises, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, and light cleaning. Candidate must be able to provide a safe transfer to and from wheelchair. I’m 5’ 11” and weigh about 130 pounds. I have good arm strength so I’m able to hold on for the transfer. Area Roseville, MN Shift Monday thru Friday mornings start as early as 6:30 for 4 hours. Monday thru Friday evenings are a little flexible but generally 7 to 11. Weekends are more flexible but generally start at 9:00am for 4 hours and 7 to 11pm. There is a possibility for a live-in situation after a trial period to see if we’re compatible. I do have extra bedrooms and bathroom if it is easier for the PCA to spend the night. Qualifications A responsible, honest and trustworthy person with reliable transportation required.
