COMPANY : We are a well established (20+ years) small General Contracting firm that focuses only on high-end residential construction (large scale remodels). Our project values are typically in the range from $5mm to $15mm. As such, we look to only hire the very best of the best, with compensation to match accordingly. We are currently seeking a verifiable , experienced "all star" residential superintendent that has had success in building large/challenging homes in SF and Marin County in the recent past. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction project on a daily basis. They will assist with the supervision of all onsite work. This often includes, but not limited to demolition, intricate foundation replacements, excavations, layout of in-house trim carpentry team, supervise and coordinate with all trade labor and subcontractors, and interface with our company president, project manager, architect, engineers, local officials, and others. Our work extends from foundations thru to final trim and paint. Additional responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: • Review architectural and structural designs to determine scope of work (organized by Autodesk Build software on iPads) • Oversee projects to maintain compliance with construction safety codes and other regulatory requirements. • Prepare daily logs for construction activities and daily project reports. • Coordinate with project team and building trades for the preparation and processing of project documentation, including, but not limited to submittals, RFI's and Change Order requests. * layout carpentry tasks for employees of our firm EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: • Seven to ten years minimum experience in general construction, with emphasis on high end RESIDENTIAL projects preferred in SF or Marin County. We view commercial work as a very different skill set. • Strong ability to manage and layout all subcontractors' work. • Excellent hands-on construction skills within residential construction. • Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality assurance, quality control and auditing. • Ability to read and understand construction documents, schedules, and cost reports. • History of completing projects within budget and schedule. **** Please note, at this time we are focused only of superintendents with residential construction background, not commercial.**** ATTRIBUTES/CAPABILITIES: • Excellent interpersonal skills and working with a team. • Excellent communication skills. • Professional at all times. Ground Service Equipment Mechanic (Colorado Springs, CO)
We are a growing company seeking experienced, reliable mechanics to join our small team of GSE mechanics at the Colorado Springs Airport. You will be working on our fleet of Oshkosh Tempest i Deicers as well as a broad range of equipment entrusted to our care by our airline customers. This is not an apprenticeship level position - you should have experience and be comfortable performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment. We are a busy shop and work on many different types of machines - gasoline and diesel powered, new and old technologies. You will be working on automotive vehicles, tugs, pushbacks, trailers, air conditioning and heating carts, generators, small engines, deice trucks and more. Though we try to work indoors whenever possible, much of our work is done outdoors in various weather conditions. You should be comfortable working outdoors in the elements when necessary. 2+ years of full time mechanic experience is required for this role. We will be hiring based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with a strong resume and verifiable work history will be given preference. You must be physically capable of working in all positions, climbing, lifting and carrying heavy items, etc. We strongly prefer candidates with a background in heavy equipment such as farming or construction machinery, with at least some experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems. Some schooling and certifications may be valuable. You will work 40 hours per week in this role with possible overtime opportunities. Early mornings and/or weekends may be required.
