About the Position -We are seeking an experienced Carpenter with commercial siding experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven background in architectural cladding and exterior envelope work, with a focus on precision, durability, and quality craftsmanship. -Our projects primarily involve phenolic resin panels, ACM, IMP, and metal siding systems on commercial buildings. Attention to detail, understanding of waterproofing principles, and a commitment to building long-lasting, watertight assemblies are essential. Responsibilities -Install, align, and finish high-performance siding systems, including phenolic resin, ACM, IMP, and metal panels -Ensure proper flashing, waterproofing, and envelope integrity on all installations -Perform layout, framing, and related carpentry tasks to support siding systems -Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and specifications -Work collaboratively with project leads and crew members to maintain schedule and quality -Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Qualifications -3+ years of carpentry or commercial siding experience required -Strong understanding of building envelope systems and waterproofing details -Ability to work accurately and efficiently with modern cladding materials -Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license -Team-oriented, safety-minded, and detail-focused Compensation -Pay is based on experience and skill, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The Habitat Restoration Landscape Technician works under the general supervision of landscape foremen and project managers to implement ecological landscape and habitat restoration projects throughout the Monterey and SF bay areas. Essential Functions of the Job: ○ Works under the direction of the Foreman on jobs with multiple other crew members. ○ Review daily progress and needs of the next day with the Foreman. ○ Perform work in a safe and efficient manner and maintains excellent quality. ○ Understand and perform safety & landscape procedures and participate in weekly safety & training meetings. ○ Inspects equipment daily to ensure proper and safe operation. ○ Accurately fills out time cards daily. ○ Ability to communicate with Foreman, project management and customers in English. ○ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ○ Entry level understanding of landscape installation methods and techniques ○ Experience with basic landscape machinery, tools and materials needed to accomplish work. ○ Assist with Layout, Grading, Planting, Irrigation, Carpentry, Masonry ○ Possess a valid California driver`s license and have a clean driving record.
