Tree removal company based out of Shelby township servicing all of Macomb county. Looking for full and part-time laborers. Our crew runs 8:00 a.m. till roughly 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Time and a half for the 6th and 7th day if you want to work them in the same week. If the hours are too long, you can drive your own car to the job if you need to leave earlier. What we need is general laborers that can carry the logs out to the curb and drag the brush out to the curb to feed the chipper. It is a very laborsome job. If you have a chauffeur license I will move you up a dollar an hour. If you have a CDL class B or better no air brakes I will move you up another dollar an hour. If you have previous tree removal experience and can run a chainsaw, I will move you up another dollar an hour. Beginning pay is $15 per hour cash. You will get paid in cash every Friday. Not for the current week but for the previous week. We stay busy all the way till New Year although our days get a little bit shorter since It gets dark earlier. We are looking for immediate employment and part-time is acceptable as well. You must have a driver's license and your own car to get to work everyday. General Position Description The maintenance technician will perform a variety of tasks on a 25-acre residential property. The technician will handle basic tasks in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. The team keeps the units, buildings, and equipment maintained and repaired; handles unit inspections; responds to after-hour maintenance calls; ensures that the department has the required materials and supplies in inventory; works cooperatively with contractors and vendors servicing the property; and assists with keeping the maintenance shop in good order. The technician will participate in heavy lifting, appliance removal and installation, digging, cleaning, and other manual labor tasks as required. Desired Attributes and Qualifications • Work experience in general maintenance in the areas of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting • Hardworking, able to lift 75 lbs, walk up and down hills/stairs, stand for periods of time, bend and otherwise move freely to satisfactorily handle job duties • Good people skills, team player • Able to speak, read, and write English and communicate ideas to meet the requirements of the job • History of good attendance, following procedures, and staying on schedule • Computer knowledge in entering information into a database and email helpful • Driver license, current auto insurance, and satisfactory driver’s abstract
