We are seeking to hire a new part-time team member who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, is passionate about food and beverage, and preferably has experience and knowledge in wine and/or retail environments. At Stanley’s Wet Goods, your role will consist of regular stocking of inventory on the floor, curating a warm and neighborly guest experience, working the register, and providing occasional support to our wine bar. Stanley’s Wet Goods is a Culver City bottle shop and wine bar with a robust retail beverage program - focused on wine, but including beer, cider, sake, spirits (and more!) - and a growing food retail program featuring gourmet goods from around the world. A neighborhood spot, much of our customer base is regulars who frequent the store and build relationships with the Stanley’s team. Our team is tight-knit and collaborative, focused on communication and teamwork to accomplish all that needs to be accomplished while maintaining our high standards of service. Most importantly, community is at the center of what we do! Our community of employees, the community of winemakers and artisans we represent, and the community we serve in Culver City is what it’s all about. Our current staffing needs include weekends (must have Sunday availability), with the potential for additional weekday shifts as well. Ultimately, we will do our best to work with your availability. Prior wine experience and knowledge are preferred, so you can dive right into assisting guests with confidence.
