STATUS: Exempt SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of an active, orderly home.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Housekeeping Duties  Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all living areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.  Manage laundry services: washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.  Maintain kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard of cleanliness.  Change bed linens and refresh guest rooms as needed.  Monitor household supplies and restock cleaning products and toiletries.  Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.  Care for fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, and specialty surfaces according to proper methods. Household Assistant Duties  Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and household supply purchases.  Accept deliveries, manage returns, and oversee service providers or maintenance workers.  Support the homeowners in setting up for gatherings, events, or entertaining guests.  Provide pet care assistance, including feeding, walking, or vet appointments (if applicable).  Travel assistance: packing/unpacking, organizing luggage, and ensuring essentials are prepared.  Always maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding household and family matters.
