This role will work closely with the Army's Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC) Strategic Communications Division to plan, film, and edit videos used for a variety of purposes, including information dissemination, marketing, and training in support of the Public Affairs Office in order to meet high-visibility, quick-turn requests. Edit photos and deliver files in a timely manner.  Maintain the ability to take well-composed photos while covering events. Conduct basic photo editing and select best possible photos to accompany articles and social media posts. Capture high-quality headshots for Senior Leaders & Command team as required.  Capture high-quality, compelling videos. Edit videos and deliver files in a timely manner.   Capture video interviews with Subject Matter Experts as needed, as well as additional “B-roll” footage from visits, events, and scenarios.   Regularly propose new content ideas working with contractor and Government teammates to highlight the command’s research initiatives.   Maintain an internal catalog of video content which can be utilized in a variety of products.   Maintain and populate Social Media sites with militarily relevant content after close coordination with the DHA R&D-MRDC’s Strategic Communications team as needed.  Requirements Minimum Education and Experience  Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant professional experience Basic Requirements  Project coordination experience involving planning and ideation, implementation, and rapid turn-around for deliverables Advanced experience with high-quality video capture, editing, and production Advanced experience with photography capture and editing Experience with Social Media site maintenance and content creation Prior visual communications experience with the federal government Must be willing and able to report to client site (Frederick, MD) on a daily basis To be successful at Ripple Effect, you must be able to pay attention to details, clearly communicate, work independently, and have an eagerness to learn. Shepard Exposition Services is seeking a Manager, Structural Design to lead and oversee the Structural Design team, ensuring adherence to departmental standards, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role encompasses recruitment, onboarding, and the ongoing development of team members. In addition, this role will provide both creative direction and technical expertise in the design and detailing of structures for trade show floors, lobbies, show management areas, and exhibit spaces for local and national events. Key Contributions of the Role Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Structural Design team, ensuring timely completion of new orders, rush requests, and standard turnaround times. Review and approve the team’s time cards, time off requests, expense reports, and other business-related submissions requiring managerial review. Provide support and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment and productivity across regions. Assign and track structural design work orders and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with Operations to resolve design-related issues and ensure integrity. Lead departmental recruitment efforts, including reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding and training. Maintain and update departmental SOPs and design libraries. Coordinate with IT and the design team to ensure CAD software and equipment are up to date and fully functional. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in convention services, exhibitions, or a closely related industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in the following software platforms: Autodesk AutoCAD (required) Adobe Creative Cloud (general familiarity) 3DS Max (preferred, but not required) Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and WebEx Experience with various exhibit systems and components, including beMatrix, Maxima, Rexframe, and custom elements. Ability to quickly learn and utilize IRIS Design Software. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Front end web design principals are required, HTML skills are not required but an understanding of code is a plus. Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills.
