Job Title: Property Facilities Manager Location: Somerville, MA (Onsite) Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Pay: $40 Overview: A real estate investment and management firm is seeking a Property Facilities Manager to join their team in Somerville. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone looking for long-term growth within a mission-driven company that focuses on mixed-use residential and commercial properties across Greater Boston. The Property Facilities Manager serves as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal teams-balancing hands-on facilities coordination with administrative oversight. This role is ideal for someone resourceful, responsive, and comfortable managing both day-to-day operations and unexpected property issues. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenant maintenance requests Coordinate and dispatch in-house techs or third-party vendors for repairs Communicate updates to tenants regarding request statuses and ongoing maintenance Respond to emergency situations (e.g., flooding, access issues) including after-hours coordination Support on-site construction activities and coordinate tenant access as needed Participate in weekly operational meetings with security, janitorial, and engineering staff Assist with planning and executing building events (e.g., fire drills, holiday events) Conduct routine property inspections and recommend improvements Maintain accurate files and records, including tenant contacts, COIs, and lease files Help source vendors and participate in bid processes Provide administrative support to the Property Manager as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 1-2 years of experience in commercial property management or related field Administrative experience in real estate, facilities, or construction a strong plus Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, responsive environment Tech-savvy - proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is a plus Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred Must have access to a car for occasional site visits or vendor coordination Willingness to be available outside normal business hours for property needs (OT eligible after 40 hours/week) Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
