RESPONSIBILITIES: • Act as a visible crime deterrent while maintaining a professional, approachable demeanor. • Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe environment. • Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the security of the premises. • Investigate and report irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards. • Submit detailed, accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and vehicle inspections. • Remove trespassers or wrongdoers from premises as needed, following company protocols. • Follow all security protocols, regulations, and policies while ensuring a safe and secure environment. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other security staff about security-related matters. • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: • Must possess a valid BSIS Guard Card. • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. • Must be at least 18 years of age (preferably 25 or older, in accordance with vehicle insurance policy). • Completion of mandatory security training (40 hours/AB2880). • 1+ years of experience in security (preferred). • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods; able to climb stairs and walk on uneven terrain. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Professional appearance and demeanor. • Must have reliable transportation to/from work. • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
