Position Auto Body Technician Location Greater Sacramento Area Job Summary Kniesel's Collision, Inc. seeks an experienced journeyman Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs on various vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition per OEM standards and company guidelines. Your expertise in bodywork, frame repair, and refinishing will be vital in delivering the exceptional service Kniesel’s Collision is known for. Core Responsibilities Complete disassembly and vehicle assessment to assist account managers in determining damage and preparing an accurate repair plan. Effectively communicate with Account Managers and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts. Plan work procedures and follow work orders for all listed operations. Closely follow Kniesel’s QC SOP to ensure the highest standard of quality. Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time. Remove necessary parts, equipment, and materials to gain access for vehicle repair. Store parts properly to prevent further damage and loss. Repair or replace defective parts. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools. Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Comply with Kniesel’s Collision Core Values, guidelines, and standards. Follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect the collision center’s operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned, including cleaning the shop, assisting teammates, and mentoring body tech apprentices. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a journeyman body technician in a collision repair environment. Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment, including welders, frame machines, and hand tools. Strong knowledge of repair techniques, bodywork, and alignment methods. I-CAR certification is a plus. Ability to read and follow repair plans, damage reports, and manufacturer specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Our company is looking to add an experienced Press Brake Operator familiar with large and small production runs on Amada and Cincinnati equipment. Must be able to work alone and in tandem with others Monday-Friday (we work four ten-hour days with OT on Fridays). Must be able to read prints/drawings and have a mastery of basic math as it applies to measurements to the thousandths of an inch (.001). Must be able to lift and do repetitive movements full time, 40+ hours a week. Must take pride in their work and understand the difference between aerospace tolerance and duct work (no dis-respect to the HVAC industry). The purpose of this study is to examine how light exposure and meal timing influences circadian rhythms in healthy people. We are looking for healthy men and women, ages 17-40 to participate in a study at the University of Colorado-Boulder Sleep and Chronobiology Laboratory. The study is 7 weeks long with 8 in-person visits. Participants live in the sleep laboratory on two separate occasions for 7.7 days (15.4 days total). Main procedures involved: Health screening Monitor on two separate occasions your sleep for 2 weeks and blood sugar levels for 3 days at home Live in the sleep laboratory on two separate occasions for 7.7 days (15.4 days total): Blood and saliva sampling Reaction time and ability to think testing Bright light exposure and earlier meal timing Compensation is up to $4,093.
