Position summary: Operate CNC press brake and laser cutting equipment, in both a prototyping and production capacity. Conduct “job shop” sheet metal work to fulfill new or existing production orders, on a recurring and repeat basis, according to required delivery schedules. In addition to production work, conduct R&D sheet metal work, in the form of short run/one-off projects to prototype new designs as they are created, and provide design input and feedback as applicable to improve and help create new designs. Manage the production schedule and keep a running priority of existing and upcoming work to ensure deadlines are met, for both R&D and production jobs. Employee is expected to carry a manufacturing project from raw material, through production, to packaging and prep for shipping.
