We are a licensed dealer and installer of Kohler generators. We install generators from 14 kw all the way to 150 kw. We do all of the setting, mounting, install the transfer switch in the electrical system, start-up, and service of the generators. We are a licensed dealer and install of Control 4 home automation systems. This includes lighting, sound, and security systems. Items and qualities that we are looking for in a journeyman to join the team. - Valid drivers license. - Must have a clean driving record. - Must have a valid journeyman license from the State of Nebraska and City of Omaha. Must be up to date before you start work. - Hand tools. We provide the cordless tools for the projects. - Able to read blueprints. - Able to navigate the NEC for the various projects. - Able to trouble shoot new and old electrical systems. - Able to work by yourself and able to work with others. - Able to run a project from ordering parts to laying out guys for day to day tasks. - Must have a good attitude at work. - Must be able to talk to clients and general contractors when asked about the projects. - Must have a working smart phone this is how time sheets are filled out. Perform required documentation for each installation with a complete startup record. Have clients sign necessary paperwork and collect payments as directed. Understand and properly use the Flat rate pricing system in making recommendations. Determine customer satisfaction with follow-up on all installation/services sold. Must have a good working knowledge of our products and services being offered, knowledge of construction in general, and how Central Oregon Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electric operates to benefit the customer. This may require additional study and training both on and off site. Continuous learning through training from suppliers, trade shows, seminars, independent study, and other employees. Must be able to accurately list/order materials and supplies. Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules. Be computer literate to the extent necessary to fulfill this function. Should also be very familiar with the use of smart phones, text messaging, and email. Must be capable of understanding client needs. Clean, neat, professional appearance. Work and drive safely and can recognize and avoid dangerous situations. Adaptable to changing work schedules as the business dictates. Participate in the on-call rotation for emergencies, after hours, weekend and holiday service requests.
