Fire Extinguisher / Hood System Suppression Technician We are looking to add to our Hood Suppression and Fire Extinguisher team. We provide fire and safety equipment service to commercial businesses in the Puget Sound Region. Responsibilities will include servicing and repair of existing Restaurant Hood Systems and Fire Extinguisher maintenance and certification per requirements. We highly desire you have certifications from hood system training centers or manufacturers certifications. We have most certs and are willing to invest in someone who wants a long term career. Please do not apply if you have no experience in this field of work. Full-time M-F with occasional hours on weekdays and sometimes will require early morning starts. Out-of-town travel is possible on certain occasions. Under general supervision of the Operations Manager/Project Manager, Field Technician will repair foundations and apply epoxy, waterproofing, sealant, or other liquid products both on horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. Build, train, supervise and mentor front line field employees to engage them in a fast paced, productive, and fun work environment. Field Technician will apply their skills as necessary to perform quality work on time and at or under budget. Duties and Responsibilities • Construction Industry experience is preferred. • Knowledge of foundation repair and applying surface coatings is preferred • Experience in grinding concrete, cutting concrete, and breaking concrete a plus. • Install epoxies and other liquid products on foundation walls, floors, and other larger flat surfaces. • Climb ladders, dig using hand tools and mini excavator, and haul material. • Painting, paint prep including sanding, caulking, and priming. • Work in confined areas such as crawl spaces. • Operate paint pumps. • Basic carpentry for forms and finishing. • Communicate with the Project Manager on progress at the job site. • Keep clean and organized job sites. • Maintain good working relationships with all company employees. Safety and Requirements • Keep all job sites clean and in order. • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures. • Valid State issued driver’s license and use of vehicle to arrive at office. We are looking for an experienced underground construction laborer. Must be able to read and use a grade laser (laser transit). Experience with installing conduit and other pipe required. Current project will last 24+ months. This is a starting position with many upward possibilities for promotion with good performance. If you are more experienced pay is negotiable.
