Benchmark Management is accepting applications for the position of Groundskeeper at Rollingwood Apartments. This is a part time position of 16 hours per week consisting of 4 4-hour days. Our groundskeepers are responsible for keeping the property clean and safe, as well as assisting the maintenance team when necessary, The successful candidates will be High School Graduates (or equivalent) and have 1-2 years of experience. Inspectors are 1099 subcontractors and must manage their own time, fuel, and other tools/resources efficiently and effectively in order to meet the given deadlines. Position Description The Yard Laborer is responsible for performing physical labor, such as cutting, sorting, and moving materials throughout the rail yard. Major Areas of Responsibility Utilize a hand operated rail saw to cut rail as instructed Utilize hydraulic spike pullers, bolt guns, and hand tools to remove tie plates from ties Utilize a hydraulic drill for drilling relay rail Sort Other Track Materials (OTM) on the sort belt Clean switches using hand tools Sort and move miscellaneous railroad materials, including ties, tie plates, joint bars, anchors, etc. Perform general maintenance and upkeep on all company property and equipment utilized Clear weeds and brush from tracks, switches, and around the yard.
