Job Description: Maintenance Technician Urban Accessories Inc. – Tacoma, WA Position Summary Urban Accessories Inc., a leading architectural and structural metals manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This role is critical to supporting our foundry and metal manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of heavy manufacturing equipment, foundry systems, and facility infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on foundry and metal fabrication equipment, including furnaces, overhead cranes, presses, grinders, welders, and ventilation systems. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems to minimize downtime. • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and hot work protocols. • Maintain and repair facility infrastructure such as compressors, water treatment systems, and industrial exhaust systems. • Monitor equipment performance, maintain service records, and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency. • Support foundry operations by responding quickly to breakdowns and coordinating repairs with production teams. • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to guide repairs and installations. • Assist with installation and commissioning of new manufacturing and foundry equipment. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
