A Day in the Life as a Construction Sales/Project Manager As a member of the branch operations team, you will be responsible for: Assisting to fulfill the branch marketing goals and to achieve the sales goals Perform takeoffs (from blueprints and existing structures), develop estimates, write client proposals, administer contracts, develop project schedules and costing, supervise projects, and ensure quality control Prepare customer billings and assist in collection efforts as necessary Ongoing business development with our customers -- architects, owners, engineers and general contractors is a vital part of this position Developing opportunities to initiate the sale of Western's services in concrete/masonry restoration, waterproofing, etc. Assisting with the implementation of the branch marketing goals and action plans as a means to educate new and existing customers about the services Western provides Developing and maintain relationships with both current and potential clients to market the services provided by Western and increase customer base Providing customer support from start to finish of all projects and maintain contact with customers during and after completion of projects Accurately estimate and price all work to maximize volume and profitability Preparing client proposal and follow up to close the sale Monitoring and supervise the deployment of all projects to ensure the achievement of quality and timely execution of projects Interacting with Superintendent and Foreman to ensure customer/contact requirements and timelines are met Documenting, coordinating and communicating any project change orders to field and customer Ensure job files are maintained and complete Assisting in the training and development of sales and field personnel to enhance the quality of company personnel Ensuring the accurate and timely billings and assist in collection efforts as required Maintaining a high level of technical expertise by participating in appropriate seminars and training programs Contributing to operating effectiveness by developing internal and external branch relationships Joining and participate in industry-related organizations to increase networking capabilities and develop new relationships and opportunities for work Requirements 4+ years experience in commercial construction (concrete and masonry restoration preferred) High school diploma or equivalent is required A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications will ensure success and customer satisfaction Ideal candidate will be both strong in sales and project management but if it really came down to it he needs someone stronger in sales A thorough knowledge of the construction industry is beneficial Benefits Compensation Bonus Opportunity Vehicle Allowance Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Family Leave (Maternity)

Our company is looking for a part time data analyst to research and enter equities data for 2-3 hours each day M-F. Work could be done after 5 pm. You will be paid on 1099 and you should be a US citizen. Decent excel skills required. Work starts immediately.

As a Commercial Construction Estimator, your role is critical in shaping the financial foundation of our projects. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction jobs, ensuring that we maintain profitability while delivering high-quality work. This position requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, labor costs, and subcontractor coordination. Salary range: $75,000 to $110,000.  This salary range reflects a scale from a competent early-career estimator to a highly experienced, leadership-level estimator who adds strategic value to the organization. Responsibilities: Review architectural and engineering plans to develop detailed cost estimates. Perform quantity take-offs across all CSI divisions. Analyze subcontractor bids and vendor pricing to ensure scope alignment and cost efficiency. Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align estimates with actual site conditions and execution plans. Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and site evaluations as needed. Assist in preparing budgets, bid packages, and change order pricing. Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings. Support procurement efforts by recommending vendors and subcontractors based on estimate data. Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Clear and professional communication with internal teams and external partners. Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent experience in commercial construction estimating. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents across multiple trades. Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar). Experience with Procore or other project management platforms. OSHA 30, LEED, and PMP certifications are a plus. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data and formulas. We’re looking for a Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our team and take charge of projects across the U.S. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Project Managers to lead commercial construction projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, on budget, and up to spec. You’ll be the boots on the ground, providing leadership, solving problems, and getting your hands dirty when needed. This role involves significant travel to various site locations within the United States. $75,000 - 120,000 annual salary, depending upon experience. This salary range reflects a scale from a competent early-career superintendent to a highly experienced, leadership-level superintendent who adds strategic value to the organization. In addition to the base salary, the position offers a quarterly bonus incentive program and annual profit sharing. This position can be filled as direct hire (W2) or as contract (1099). Responsibilities: Organize daily activities based on priorities and plans, making necessary adjustments in response to weather changes, supply arrivals, and personnel shifts. Oversee the on-site construction team, tackle any challenges that arise, and offer hands-on support and expertise to keep the project on schedule. Swiftly and amicably resolve any conflicts or miscommunications that may occur on-site. Uphold and promote high-quality standards throughout the project. Actively identify any discrepancies in construction progress and communicate these to the project team, collaborating for a timely resolution. Facilitate daily safety meetings, stressing the importance of safe tool, machinery, and equipment usage, which includes providing training on safety gear, helmets, and compliant work practices as per OSHA standards and company policies. Keep a daily log of activities on the job site and submit it regularly. Recognize work areas that fall outside the scope of subcontracts and assist the Project Manager in generating accurate change orders. Foster and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and contractors alike. Monitor subcontractor compliance with agreed scopes of work, issuing notices of non-compliance when necessary. Ensure the job site is kept clean and organized at all times. Identify and complete any punch list items efficiently. Engage in and assist with hands-on construction tasks utilizing industry standards and tools. Requirements In-depth understanding of the construction process, safety protocols, and industry best practices related to job sites. Practical experience across various trades, including but not limited to drywall installation, carpentry, and painting. Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents across multiple construction divisions. Understanding of the full project lifecycle, including estimating project costs, preparing competitive bids, and managing procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and subcontractor services. Regular use of project management software is essential, including programs like Procore, Bluebeam, JobTread, MS Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills complemented by strong interpersonal abilities. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an added advantage. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial construction sector is necessary. At least 3 years of experience as a construction foreman is required. Experience of 2+ years with Procore is highly preferred. Live-site experience is strongly desirable. OSHA 30 Certification is strongly preferred. Having First Aid and CPR Certification is strongly preferred. Education: High School Diploma Required. Diploma or Certificate in a trade preferred. Physical Demands: Must possess the physical mobility to work in field and office settings and use standard office equipment, including a computer, cell phone, and tablet; and to operate a motor vehicle and travel to various job and meeting sites. We are a small agency looking for someone with a lot of compassion and patience to provide support to adults with learning disabilities in their homes and communities. Each customer presents their own goals and challenges, and we endeavor to provide them with the assistance that they want in the manner that they want it. They may want help with things like housekeeping, grocery shopping, and going to the doctor, and may want you to help them to make friends and have some fun. Your work day may be spent with one or more customer, and you may be doing things like teaching someone to cook, helping them organize their homes, bowling, exercising at the gym, or walking in the park.
