Hiring CNC Machinists for 2nd shift. Duties include:  Set up of vertical and horizontal machining centers  Set up CNC turning centers.  Edit G-Code at the machine for variance in material and tool size, etc.  Programming in G-Code and CAD-CAM.  Must be able to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing, in English. Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally. Must have good close vision and finger dexterity. Responsibilities to include: • Operate manual and CNC machines to produce low-volume production parts, making real-time adjustments for optimal performance. • Utilize a manual Lathe and Mill to modify non-compliant components. • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to support production builds, including reworking parts and troubleshooting assembly challenges. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes. • Perform troubleshooting on machine issues. • Specify new equipment and tooling. • Specify and develop fixturing for machining precision parts with moderate complexity. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience operating manual machines in a manufacturing or R&D environment. • Experience with operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) is a plus. • Strong understanding of machining procedures, materials, and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) • Good understanding of G-code and hand-editing code at the machine. • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals. • Strong Mathematical Skills • Analytical skills • Attention to detail • Teamwork and communication skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus • Familiarity with SolidWorks for interpreting designs is preferred. Summary The Production Technician is responsible for assembling, calibrating, and testing our products, as well as performing measurement services related to our products.  This full-time, hourly role involves hands-on assembly and testing of precision products, as well as performing repair services in a controlled lab environment.
