Work Scheduled will be • Weekend Shift Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5:30am-6pm (3 x 12 hour shift week, OT is available) - $25.80/hr Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities) Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements. • This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. • The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. • Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic. • The tasks are generally routine and manual. • The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. • Typically requires selecting between solutions already established. Using hand tools, and power tools to ensure smooth surfaces. Assembling finished parts as needed Responsibilities ~ Grind, sand and polish production parts according to customer specifications ~ Ensures quality production through physical inspection. ~ Inspect parts for flaws and cracks. ~ Will frequently and repetitively be able to lift 50 lbs. ~ Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency and safety, ensure quality standards and policy objectives are met by in-process inspection. ~ Experience with basic inspection equipment and small tools (calipers, grinders, measuring tape, etc.) ~ Ability to work overtime as needed to meet schedule requirements. ~ Willingness to follow instruction and help wherever needed in the shop. ~ Be self motivated, positive team-oriented attitude. ~ Must maintain a clean and safe working environment Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels.
