Work Scheduled will be • Weekend Shift Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5:30am-6pm (3 x 12 hour shift week, OT is available) - $25.80/hr Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities) Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements. • This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. • The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. • Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic. • The tasks are generally routine and manual. • The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. • Typically requires selecting between solutions already established. We are a busy manufacturing company in Hawthorne, seeking a QA Inspector to join our team. We are searching for someone with a minimum of three years Inspection experience and familiar with AS9100. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: 1. Perform Inprocess & Final quality inspection of finished products in accordance with established procedures. 2. Document all instances of rejected product or raw materials as material are received. 3. Resolve customer complaints or problems in regards to rejected or non-conforming product. 4. Document appropriate information for quality inspection reports for each order. 5. Must be familiar with use of calipers, micrometers and gages, height gages, comparators, etc. 6. Must be able to perform First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102. 7. Knowledge of geometrical dimensioning and tolerances is a plus. 8. Should be able to read blue prints.
