Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Program Aide to support our After-School program. The Program Aide will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life. The Program Aide will join one of our Harlem Children's Zone/Promise Academy after-school programs that ensures thousands of kids in Central Harlem have an after-school program that is fun, safe, and a great learning experience. The individual will be an enthusiastic, reliable team player to contribute every ounce of their energy, creativity, and love so that our kids have an incredible after-school program this year. Previous experience working with children or youth in an educational, extracurricular, or after-school program is preferred but not required. Do you love working with kids? Have a passion for coaching youth sports? JumpBunch & Amazing Athletes are looking for part time coaches to join our team immediately! We bring sports, fitness and fun to area preschools, daycares, municipal programs, and private schools. With over 70 different sports and fitness activities, we're looking for people who want to make a difference in the lives of kids. We're not looking to hone the next D1 athlete, we're looking to help kids enjoy sports and fitness by getting an introduction to both mainline sports (basketball, soccer, flag football...) as well as other creative activities that involvement movement. While this is NOT a full time position, it is full time fun! We give you lesson plans, all the equipment, and training to deliver a great experience for our little friends. And we will work around your schedule. Most of our programs run somewhere between 9am and 3pm, but we do have some after school and weekend clients as well. Our most pressing need at this time is for daytime hours working generally in the midtown Indy area (think Meridian Hills over to Binford Blvd. Hours / days will vary but the schedule will be consistent over the course of the winter into spring. Requirements Must have: Positive Attitude! Love working with kids (and some experience too...)
