Are you a hard-working self-starter with a passion for horses and the outdoors? Pomponio Ranch North is a beautiful Ranch located in a peaceful, scenic valley between San Gregorio and Pescadero. PRN is looking for a Stall Cleaner/Feeder for its beautiful facility that breeds, raises, and trains horses from its champion stallions and mares! We are looking for a knowledgeable, passionate, hard-working person to join our team! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: General Cleaning of the following areas/surrounding areas, including but are not limited to the horse barn (including horse stalls, outside pens, turnout area, walker/round pen), crossties, tacking area, pastures, water troughs, hay barn, and sheep area Fodder feed and clean trays Feed horses, including making feed for the next feeding, reloading buckets, and hay cart Feed and bring sheep and Alpacas in/out Proficiency in haltering, unhaltering, and leading horses is required. Qualifications/Requirements: At least 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of caring for equines is required Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock Physical requirements Ability to work outdoors, on uneven, slippery terrain in varying weather conditions with dust and allergens Ability to twist, bend, kneel, climb and use hand tools as necessary Ability to lift 80-100 lbs.
