The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and presentation, managing kitchen staff, and controlling operating costs. They are key to ensuring food safety standards and hygiene procedures are met, in addition to supporting menu development and customer service. EDUCATION • Previous experience: Not essential, but experience in kitchen-related work will be a plus. • Specialty in Mexican and Latin cuisine. • Knowledge of working with recipes and portions, food storage, and rotation. • Proven experience using cooking utensils and procedures (cutting, chopping, portioning, blending, etc.) • Knowledge of production and preparation, knowledge of filling out forms, and reporting. • Basic use of a computer or tablet, email, and online applications. • Schedule availability.
