Develop detailed project plans to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs related to process, outcome, and impact evaluation studies. Supervise and mentor cross-disciplinary teams of data scientists and evaluation specialists. Enhance team operations through the development and implementation of streamlined processes. Data Analysis & AI: Provide technical advice on methodology approaches to accomplish project objectives (e.g., research design, analytical techniques, sampling methods). Design and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, evaluate program performance, and generate insights from large and complex data sets to improve methodologies. Develop coding frameworks using NVivo, R, or other coding platforms. Data Management: Extract and transform raw health data from multiple sources into meaningful and actionable insights. Aggregate coded comment data to surface themes and insights. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation, cleaning processes, and best practices for data management. Reporting: Develop client reports using aggregated data. Track and process progress reports using an electronic database. Review documents for accuracy and collaborating with team members to resolve any discrepancies. Present findings and recommendations to key decision-makers in a clear and concise manner. Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and co-lead training events. Develop and revise SoPs and other related process documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to define data science needs and project objectives. Contribute to proposal writing and technical solutioning for new projects. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or other relevant field 10 years relevant work experience, including at least 4 years of those years in a social or biomedical science related field Basic Requirements Experience developing data-driven insights and visualizations that clearly convey complex concepts and conclusions. Experience leading biomedical research or public health data science projects for the federal government Strong understanding and proven experience with AI, statistical and machine learning techniques, and other emerging technologies to enhance analytical conclusions. Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist, with a focus on data analysis, modeling, evaluation, and visualization and technical experience with qualitative or quantitative software packages. Proficient in coding languages such as Python or R, data manipulation tools like SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Services are needed on a 24/7 basis in his home and in the community for all activities. Client lives in a lovely family neighborhood, but needs significant supervision, behavior management and support for all tasks throughout the week. Training will start on: -Saturday 10/4 at 8 AM The substitute caregiver is needed to care for a 60 year-old paralyzed man, while his regular caregiver is on vacation. IMPORTANT: Please note that although this job is labeled as "Full-Time" – if you're an experienced caregiver, then there will be a LOT of downtime. However, you would need to assist the patient whenever needed. The substitute caregiver must be strong enough to move the patient from one side of the bed to the other, in order to prevent pressure sores on the patient's skin. I've had many caregivers who were only a fraction of my weight, and they were able to easily move me from one side of the bed to the other – as long as they used correct nursing methods. During the day, the patient needs to be turned approximately 2-4 times. Overnight, the patient usually sleeps all night with no rotations. Patient has a quiet and easy-going personality. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide full-time, live-in caregiving. A Registered Nurse (RN) will visit 3 times per week to manage medications and some toileting. The caregiver must be strong enough and able to turn the patient in bed in order to to prevent the patient from getting pressure sores. The patient has an ostomy for urine. The urine drains into a 2 liter (2L) bag on the side of the bed. You must empty this bag at least 2-3 times a day. A Registered Nurse (RN) usually changes the patient's urinary ostomy appliance. However, you must be able to change the ostomy appliance by yourself if needed. You will be trained on how to do this. The patient can also help provide some limited instructions to you on how to do this. The patient eats about 2-3 times per day and occasionally 1-2 snacks. The foods are in the refrigerator, freezer, or kitchen cabinets. If needed, the foods can be easily microwaved. BENEFITS: -$2,210 (17 days at $130 per day) -MUCH free time! -Your own private bedroom with 32 inch cable TV, walk-in closet, and bathroom -Access to entire home (kitchen, dining room, laundry, etc.). You must provide your own meals. There are numerous grocery stores, fast food places, and restaurants nearby. -Ideally, the new caregiver would be a homebody but would still have the freedom to occasionally go out, as long as sufficient advance notice is given to the patient. -The Ashburn metro station (on the Silver line) is approximately 10-15 minutes away from the patient's condo.
