Position Overview: As a Bookkeeper at CSN Collision, you will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring that the financial operations of the company run smoothly. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial data, processing transactions, and providing support for the overall accounting function. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. Perform reconciliation of bank statements, verifying and resolving discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements. Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents and records. Prepare payroll and manage employee expense reports. Support during audits by providing necessary documentation and insights. Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices in bookkeeping. Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
