Description

We are seeking a Baker with experience in working with doughs, bagel hand rolling, and various breads and donuts, to join our dedicated bakery team. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing customers with a memorable dining experience, showcasing the artistry and tradition of bagel-making. Responsibilities - Prepare and mix dough using precise measurements and techniques to ensure consistency in texture and flavor. -Shape, boil, and bake bagels to perfection, mix and shape doughs to create various breads and donuts, adhering to our established recipes and quality standards, as well as assisting with improved recipe development. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. -Collaborate with team members to manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain equipment. -Monitor baking times and temperatures, adjusting as necessary to produce optimal results. Required: -Proven experience as a Dough and Bagel Maker. -Strong knowledge of bagel-making techniques and bread production. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. -Familiarity with health and safety standards in the kitchen. Preferred: -Experience in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting. -Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. -Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies -Proficiency in using commercial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets. -Understanding of ingredient properties and their effects on the final product. -Experience with inventory management systems for tracking supplies. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being self-motivated. Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with flavors and techniques. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
