Description

Instruct elementary and middle school students in debate and/or speech at locations/schools in the larger Bellevue Redmond Seattle area. We provide instruction PowerPoints used mainly for the first two classes. After that, students engage in activities and mostly practice debates/speeches where you give feedback to them on how to improve. Experience in speech/debate is good but is NOT needed. We'll show you how speech/debate works and we have a number of current employees with no prior debate experience and they do great. We are looking for instructors that can teach in the Bellevue-Redmond-Seattle area especially in the afternoons and evenings (you'd work for 2 to 4 hours during the 230 to 830pm approximate time). You tell us when you are available, based on that availability, we tell you what days/times we want you to work and you confirm or reject those days/times. The Pay is $23 per hour PLUS there is a $15 bonus per day that you work (at least one hour). Averaged out for a typical 3 hour work session, that is $28 per hour. Plus we reimburse at IRS mileage rate your travel cost (up to a limit of $60 per day) or pay Uber costs up to $100. Our programs happen in Fall, Winter, Spring plus two 1 week sessions that are more 9am to 5pm in the Summer.
