We are seeking motivated persons who have 5 or more years experience building decks, stairs, railings and related outdoor living components. Seasoned framers can be trained quickly. If you have experience with composite decking, aluminum railing that's a great start. We will invest the time and money to train anyone who thinks they can perform at a high level. An eye for quality and willingness to produce efficiently while managing two team members. Reliable truck for hauling tools, basic tools and valid drivers license are required. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Field Technician reports to the Jersey Shore Laboratory in Waretown, New Jersey. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record to drive to and from sampling locations using a company vehicle. The starting rate of pay is $17.00 per hour for a full-time, 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The primary responsibility of the Field Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations. Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools. Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next-day sample pickup. Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory.
