Location: Fort Lauderdale Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/wk). Primarily Monday through Friday. Must be available for possible weekends along with early mornings or late evenings as needed. About the Role We’re an event rental company looking for reliable, hard-working Warehouse Workers & Drivers to help stage, load, deliver, and pick up rental items for weddings, corporate events, and festivals. This is a hands-on, physical job with a fast pace and changing schedules. If you cannot lift 50 lbs nor have weekend availability or occasionally start very early/stay late, do not apply. This job requires the following responsibilities and skillsets; • Drive a vehicle to a location provided by the employer the day prior. • Drive to various locations throughout the day as prompted by the employer. • Organize tools and equipment, keeping track of current supplies and shortages. • Have a general understanding of vehicle maintenance and keep logs of vehicle-related activities. • Perform routine vehicle checks, including lights, and ensure the vehicle is in good condition. • Maintain a valid driver's license. Additional Responsibilities: • Conduct routine vehicle check-ups for lights and other necessary maintenance. • Keep logs of vehicle-related activities and maintenance tasks. • Ensure the vehicle is off during work hours unless being used for work-related purposes. • Work long hours, typically ranging from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
